Published 13 March 2015
If you can't access DLM Dashboard on a different machine to the one it's installed on, it may be because there's a firewall in the way.
To add a firewall exception for the DLM Dashboard port to allow connections from outside:
For Windows 7

 - In the Search programs and files box in the Start menu, enter Firewall, then select Windows Firewall with Advanced Security - or,
 - Open the Control Panel, select System and Security then Windows Firewall then Advanced settings.
 - On the left, click Inbound Rules.
 - Under Actions on the right, click New Rule.
 - Select Port as the type of rule you want to create, then click Next.
 - Choose TCP as the port type, then under Specific local ports, enter the DLM Dashboard port number (by default, 19528).
Then, click Next. - Select Allow the connection, then click Next.
 - Select the type of profile to apply the rule to, then click Next.
 - Enter a name to identify this exception, for example DLM Dashboard access.
