Flyway is available in different tiers that supersedes our single database tools:

• SQL Source Control or Source Control for Oracle users should look at moving to a Flyway Teams license
• SQL Change Automation users and SQL/Oracle Source Control users that are automating their state-based deployments should look at moving to a Flyway Enterprise license

Flyway is licensed per user contributing database changes, just like our single database tools.

During this transition period:

• Flyway Teams is a bundle that includes the Flyway Teams Desktop GUI and the Flyway Teams CLI/API along with the existing SQL Source Control and Source Control for Oracle tools
• Flyway Enterprise is a bundle that includes the Flyway Enterprise Desktop GUI and the Flyway Enterprise CLI/API along with the exiting tools (SQL Source Control, Source Control for Oracle, and SQL Change Automation)

With these new licenses (Flyway Teams or Flyway Enterprise), users can have one license and have access to all the tools in that bundle.  We hope this will be useful during the transition period.  Some users may want to keep their existing projects on our single database tools and start using (or at least training users) on the new solution, Flyway.  Some users may already work across multiple database systems and can continue to use the single database tools while starting to explore Flyway for other databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Snowflake, etc.).
