Redgate licenses can be managed through permissions or roles. Permissions are implicitly assigned to licenses, whereas roles are more global and can explicitly manage licenses across the organization.

Permissions

There are two types of permissions for licenses; license admins and license owners.

License admins have the ability to:

• Add or remove users/servers on licenses

License owners have the ability to:

• Add or remove users/servers on licenses
• Add or remove license admins/owners on licenses
