Charities

We are supporting three charities this year that align with the themes of Level Up - Tech.

We will be donating a fixed amount to all three charities after the event, but there’s an additional amount that we’ve left up to you to vote for!
Every attendee will get a token for you to vote for who you'd like to support (similar to how Tesco and Waitrose do it in store). We’ll use the vote totals at the end of the day to divide this second pot amongst the charities.

We are FoodCycle, and our vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community.

We connect communities, reducing loneliness and food poverty – working with thousands of volunteers and surplus food to help everyone who needs us. By creating welcoming spaces for people from all walks of life to meet, eat and have conversations, we are supporting people’s health and mental wellbeing.

By cooking with surplus ingredients, we promote healthy, sustainable attitudes towards food and its impact on the environment, and help people to learn more about healthy food.

We aim to inspire greater change by sharing the impact of our community dining spaces and the voices of our guests to encourage more people to join and support FoodCycle, so we can help more people and more communities.

Our purpose is to end loneliness for neurodivergent and disabled adults by facilitating a fun social life where friendships and relationships can develop in a safe way.

The aim of Safe Soulmates is to provide a safe space for people to socialise, as well as to support friendships and relationships to develop in a safe way.

Every Soulmate has been met on Zoom or in real life and, due to our application process, we know that everyone is who they say they are.  Without exception, everyone who has joined us is a genuinely lovely person, who just wants to find new friends or that special someone.

If you live in Cambridgeshire and you are neurodivergent or disabled or even if you are just incredibly nervous of meeting new people, please get in touch, we are here to help you.
