Adding Oracle on Amazon RDS

Make sure you have read Preparing Oracle for monitoring before adding an Oracle instance to Redgate Monitor.
This page explains how to add Oracle instances running on Amazon RDS.
Multi-tenancy support
Amazon RDS does not support accessing the container database (CDB) so you will need to add each PDB separately.
Go to  Configuration → Monitored servers → Add → Oracle instance → Select Amazon RDS
Insert the endpoint, port and service name details, the authentication details will be the same as created in the precursory step above.
Optionally, set up host monitoring using your AWS API credentials:
You can now attempt to test the connection, then add once the connection is successful, or, add straight away.
