Agent Installer

Contact your system administrator to permit the Agent Installer to be run on the host.

If you have necessary privileges on the host you can whitelist the Agent Installer executable:

Right-click the Agent Installer and click Properties. Click the Unblock checkbox and click OK. Now try re-running the installer.

If this option is not visible, contact your system administrator.

The Location where you are running the Agent Installer does not permit running executables. Move the executable to a different part of the filesystem and try again.

Contact your system administrator if this does not work.

Interactive users are blocked from running the Monitor Agent on this host. Contact your system administrator or consider running the Agent using a service account.

Although the Agent has successfully installed, Windows is unable to start the Agent service. Use the Report an issue form to contact us and provide the following:

  1. Installer logs from %TEMP% (these are periodically removed by Windows so copy the logs immediately after the error has occurred)
  2. Whether this is a new Agent installation or an upgrade of a previous one.
  3. Any error or log messages in the Windows Event Viewer related to the Agent installation.

Agent

If the agent fails to connect, it could be that the one-time token in the command you ran when you installed the agent has expired or already been used. Try clicking Add Agent again to get a new command with a fresh token, and try running the installer again with that command.
