Redgate Monitor 14

Setting up Microsoft Teams notifications

Available from version 14.1.0

About Microsoft Teams notifications

You can set up Redgate Monitor to post to Microsoft Teams in Adaptive card format when:

  • Alerts are raised.
  • An alert level changes (e.g. from Medium to High).
  • An alert ends.

This type of notification works with Microsoft Teams workflows (Power Automate) and posts messages in Adaptive card format.

Redgate Monitor's Adaptive card integration is designed to send all notifications to one URL in Microsoft Teams. To route your alert notifications to different Microsoft Teams channels, you can configure filtering logic in Microsoft Teams workflows (Power Automate).

Alternatively, if you prefer to specify routing logic in Redgate Monitor, see Sending email notifications to Microsoft Teams and Slack channels which allows you to configure multiple destinations for alert notifications.

Configuring Microsoft Teams Adaptive card notifications

Go to the Configuration page. Under Alerts and Metrics, select Notification settings:
