How can I try out your application?
If you just want to check out what the application's interface looks like, how it works and what features it has, click here to try Redgate Data Modeler for free without any registration. If you want to test one of our paid plans and have access to more advanced features, you can choose a fully functional 7-day free trial. During this period you can test Redgate Data Modeler to see if it suits your needs.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No, there is no contract. Payments are always made in advance. You can choose a monthly subscription where you pay a flat fee month by month. If you choose the subscription option, you can cancel at any time and we will stop billing you immediately (you will not be charged for the next and subsequent months).
What is the exact amount of recurring billing?
The amount you will pay for the services are as stated above in the chosen account plan and the chosen monthly or yearly subscription period. If you have a discount coupon the recurring billing amount will be decreased by the amount stated on the coupon until the coupon is valid. For the European Union customers the total amount will be increased by VAT at the country rate based on the customer’s location.
Is the recurring billing amount variable or constant?
The recurring billing amount remains constant over time.
What is the effective date of recurring billing?
The effective date of recurring billing is the same day when the user places an order for the services.
Will the effective date of recurring billing be variable or constant?
The effective date of recurring billing remains constant over time. The next charges (monthly or yearly) are related to the day of month when the first charge was made.
I haven't received an email with my confirmation link.
If you didn't receive an email from us within a few minutes and there is no email in the spam folder, it probably means that the email was rejected by your server or firewall. In that case, report the situation to our staff at redgatedatamodeler@red-gate.com and we will send you a reply with a new confirmation link.
Do you require a credit card to register a trial account?
No. When registering for a trial account plan, you will not be asked to give any billing information. Therefore, no credit card is required. Just your name and email address. You will need to provide billing information only when you want to upgrade to a paid plan.
What payment options are available?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club and JCB.
Can I change my account plan?
Yes. You can upgrade or even downgrade your plan at any time. When you sign up, choose the features and plan that suit your needs at this point, and upgrade to a higher plan later when your project grows.
Will downgrading affect my models?
Each plan has its own limited number of models that can be created or shared and then stored in the account. Moreover, a maximum number of tables per model is defined for every plan (i.e., in a Basic plan, your models can consist of up to 25 tables). It means that in your new, lower plan you will be able to store fewer models with fewer tables than in your current plan. Therefore, when downgrading, you may be instructed to delete or unshare some models to match the new plan constraints. But if your models don't exceed the new limits, you will not lose anything from your previous work.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. If you decide to cancel your subscription, you can do this through the Manage personal account plan panel. Please note that we do not refund any amount you paid within the current subscription period. After canceling a subscription, you can use your account till the end of the current subscription period.
Can I close my account?
You can remove your account at any time through the Close personal account option on the My account panel.
