Azure v12 and SQL Server 2016 connectivity
SQL Data Compare can now connect to Azure v12 and SQL Server 2016 CTP2 instances. Full support for new SQL Server features will be coming in the future.

64-bit support
SQL Data Compare will now run as a 64-bit process on a 64-bit OS. This applies to both the main application GUI and the SQLDataCompare.exe
command-line.
SQL Data Compare will be installed to C:\Program Files (x86)
unless you customize the install location, but it will still run as a 64-bit process where possible.
Fixes
- SDC-1772: Pressing Ctrl+A to select all objects and then clicking one of the checkboxes no longer causes an error when the comparison includes tables or views that cannot be compared.
- SDC-1887: Data Compare now correctly restores data compression settings when rebuilding an index during deployment

: Data Compare no longer truncates large (>8000 byte) data values when comparing tables using a non-unique comparison keySDC-1912
: The command line now correctly recognises comparison options specified using the/options
argument. This fixes a regression introduced in version 11.2.0.

Note: Version 11.2 rolls up all of the changes from frequent update versions 11.1.6 to 11.2.0 - if you want to receive these kinds of updates more quickly in future, you should turn on Frequent Updates.

Known issues
SDC-1912
: Version 11.2.0 of the SQL Data Compare command line does not correctly recognise options specified using the /options
argument. It ignores the options, and emits the following message:
Warning: unrecognised SQL Data Compare option
This bug is fixed in version 11.2.1.
