Add-SqlMonitorAccessRights

Adds access rights to AD Principals.

Syntax

Add-SqlMonitorAccessRights -Principals <ADPrincipal[]> -MonitoredObjects <MonitoredObject[]> [-Groups <Group[]>] [<CommonParameters>]

Add-SqlMonitorAccessRights -Principals <ADPrincipal[]> -Groups <Group[]> [<CommonParameters>]

Description

The Add-SqlMonitorAccessRights cmdlet adds access rights to an AD Principal object.

Connect-SqlMonitor must be called before this cmdlet. Update-SqlMonitorADPrincipal should be called to communicate the changes to SQL Monitor.

-Principals <ADPrincipal[]>

The AD principals to grant rights for.

The groups to grant rights to. At least one of Groups and MonitoredObjects must be specified.

    You cannot pipe input to this cmdlet.
