Remove-SqlMonitorTags

Removes a list of tags from a monitored object.

Syntax

Remove-SqlMonitorTags [-MonitoredObject] <MonitoredObject> [-Tags] <string[]> [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Removes a list of tags from a previously retrieved monitored object using Get-SqlMonitorInstance, Get-SqlMonitorAmazonRdsSqlServer or Get-SqlMonitorAzureManagedInstance.

Inputs

The input type is the type of the objects that you can pipe to the cmdlet.

  • [MonitoredObject] The monitored object to remove tags from. Can be an Instance, AmazonRdsSqlServer or AzureManagedInstance that extends the MonitoredObject class.

  • [string[]] List of tags

Examples

# Removes tags ["foo", "bar"] from all the SQL Server instances.
Get-SqlMonitorInstance | Remove-SqlMonitorTags -Tags foo, bar

-------------------------- EXAMPLE 2 --------------------------

# Remove tags ["mi", "bar"] from all azure managed instances.
Get-SqlMonitorAzureManagedInstance | Remove-SqlMonitorTags -Tags mi, bar
