SQL Monitor supports:
Self-managed (Infrastructure as a Service)
PostgreSQL running on Linux virtual machines of the above versions, on:
- Microsoft Azure virtual machines
- Amazon EC2 virtual machines
- Google Compute Engine virtual machines
Managed (Database as a Service)
- Amazon RDS PostgreSQL
- Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
You may need to set up certain things before you can do this. For details, see: Adding servers on a different network from your Base Monitor.
High availability
SQL Monitor version 13.0.15 and later supports monitoring PostgreSQL instances in high-availability clusters using physical streaming replication.
Earlier versions do not support monitoring clusters.
Monitoring logical replication is not supported.
