After installing DLM Automation, the cmdlets are not available for selection in PowerShell, or a script containing the cmdlets fails when run in another tool.

Cause

The application you're using to reference the cmdlets was running while you were installing and has not been restarted.

Fix

Restart the relevant application.

Cause

You are running PowerShell version 1 or version 2.

Fix

Upgrade to at least PowerShell version 3, see the Requirements.
