Hardware and software system requirements

Data Masker for SQL Server is entirely based on a client PC – there are NO binaries to install on the server. The PC system requirements for Data Masker for SQL Server are minimal.

• Windows 7 (SP1 or newer); Windows 8 (8.1 or newer); Windows 10 (Anniversary Update or newer); Windows Server (2008 R2 or newer)
• 1GHz or faster processor
• At least 1024x768 screen resolution
• At least 512 MB RAM
• 100 MB free disk space
• Microsoft .NET v4.7.2 Framework
• Connections to the target SQL Server database are made via Microsoft standard ADO technologies.

Data Masker supports SQL Server database versions 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017 as well as Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS SQL Server on all server side operating systems.
