Requirements for SQL Lock

To use the SQL Lock beta, you need:
- SQL Server Management Studio 2008 R2 or later
- SQL Server 2008 R2 or later
- NET 4.0 or later
To see information about locked objects in the SQL Lock interface, you need database owner permissions for the RedGate database, which SQL Lock creates. For more information about the RedGate database, see How it works.
