SQL Change Automation Core was the version of SQL Change Automation that was available in the box with Visual Studio Enterprise 2017.

From version 4.0 onward SQL Change Automation Core is no longer supported.

Downgrading to use SQL Change Automation Core

If you have upgraded to a version of SQL Change Automation that does not support Core edition you should downgrade to continue using it.

The latest version to support Core edition is version 3, which you can obtain here.
