This section lists the minimum hardware and software requirements needed to successfully install SQL Estate Manager.

Software requirements

• Supported operating systems:
  • Windows Server 2008 SP2
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
  • Windows Server 2012
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Windows 8.x
  • Windows 10
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 or later.
• The SQL Database for SQL Estate Manager needs to be installed on SQL Server 2008 (any edition) or later.
• The computer running the tool needs to be part of an Active Directory domain.

Hardware requirements

• CPU 1GHz, 2 cores or more
• Memory – up to 200 MB RAM while idle; up to 2GB RAM during data load
• Disk – 100 MB disk space
