Standalone CLI tools installation
Published 02 July 2025
Individual capabilities of Redgate Test Data Manager can also be installed as standalone CLI tools for integration with automated processes and integration with existing CI/CD pipelines.
We currently distribute a self-contained binary built with .NET for both platforms. The .NET runtime is bundled with the binary, so it runs natively.
For Linux, we only compile against the glibc standard (x86_64). At this time, we don’t provide a musl-based build, so the CLI won’t run natively on Alpine Linux or other musl-based distributions.
