SQL Server Agent jobs running on Availability Groups (Contained and non-Contained) are displayed on the Jobs page and will raise associated job alerts. To monitor Availability Group jobs, Redgate Monitor must be monitoring the cluster containing the Availability Group.

Contained Availability Groups

Contained Availability Groups are a SQL Server 2022 feature that allow SQL Server Agent jobs to be defined at the Availability Group level rather than the server level. Contained Availability Group jobs are tracked per-replica, so job history and status remain accurate when the primary role moves between replicas during a failover.
