What permissions does the user running SQL Dependency Tracker need?

SQL Dependency Tracker uses the SQL Compare engine code, so it needs the same permissions as SQL Compare. See Permissions required to use SQL Compare for a list of these permissions.
In addition, if connecting to SQL Server 2008, you also need to GRANT VIEW SERVER STATE TO <user>.
