SQL Monitor 12.1.1 and above supports monitoring Azure SQL managed instance failover groups. You can add an Azure SQL managed instance that is part of a failover group to SQL Monitor the same way you would add any other instance. Then SQL Monitor will detect that the instance is part of a failover group and provide information about the replication state of the databases in the group and the partner server in an overview page that you can navigate to from the Global dashboard.
