SmartAssembly 6

Transferring SA data from mdb to SQL Server

SmartAssembly uses a database to store your error and feature reports, information about your projects and builds, and the details for the Decode stack trace feature.  However, with SmartAssembly Pro, you can use a SQL Server database instead.

NOTE: Since the 6.11 release, it requires use of a SQL database.

If you switch to a SQL Server database after using the default database for some time, you must transfer the data from your mdb database into the SQL database. If you don't transfer the data, you won't be able to view any of your old error/feature reports, receive new reports, or decode a stack trace for any previously released builds.
