Configuring SmartAssembly
Published 02 January 2013
You can configure the following aspects of SmartAssembly:
- The reports database
- The path to the map file (see also: About map files)
- The authentication type used for SQL databases
These three configuration options are useful if you have a development team with more than one copy of SmartAssembly.
Additionally, you can set up a custom web server for error and feature usage reporting.
Error reports and feature usage reports normally go through a server owned by Redgate (although they are encrypted for your protection). If you are especially concerned about security, however, this option lets you set up your own web server for reports instead.
