Visual Studio extension

The ReadyRoll Visual Studio extension lets you:
- easily create migration scripts for database changes
- deploy those migrations to a development database as part of a Visual Studio build
- validate the migration scripts
- source control the migration scripts so they can be used by team members as well as the build components
Requirements
- Visual Studio 2015 Community, Professional, or Enterprise
- With SSDT installed
- Visual Studio 2017 Community, Professional, or Enterprise
- With the Data storage and processing workload installed
Old versions
Visual Studio 2012 and 2013 require ReadyRoll 1.13.21.3244 and will receive no further updates.
Installation
- For Visual Studio 2015 and/or 2017, download ReadyRoll from the Redgate website
- For just Visual Studio 2017, download ReadyRoll from the Visual Studio Marketplace
