Changes

  • SQL Source Control is now using the latest version of the Microsoft.Data.SqlClient library.
This library contains a breaking change where, for security reasons, the TrustServerCertificate parameter defaults to false in more scenarios.
If you see a connection error during the pre-login handshake, you will need to either set the "Trust Server Certificate" property to true (available in the SSMS connection dialog options screen)
    or resolve the certificate issue.

Improvements

  • Updated SQL Compare Engine to 14.4.3.16705

Fixes

  • SOC-10075 - Special characters in filter rules are now correctly escaped
