Connections to servers timing out

When connecting to a SQL Server over the VPN or any slow network, SQL Dependency Tracker may time out.
To fix this problem, change the timeout on connections to the SQL server. You can do this by changing the connection properties to SERVERNAME;connection timeout=120. (Where SERVERNAME is the DNS name of the SQL Server)
