Add SQL Server

This page explains how to add SQL Server instances, including failover cluster instances, running on non-cloud-hosted Windows machines, Linux machines and virtual machines of both. If you are adding a virtual machine, you must configure the VMWare host first to gather VM specific metrics.

  1. Go to the Configuration tab and, under Monitoring, select Monitored servers.
  2. Click the Add button, and select SQL Server.
  3. Add a SQL Server with its repective host
