The overviews in SQL Monitor show the health of your monitored servers and are arranged as a hierarchy:

The overview pages are refreshed automatically every 30 seconds, so you don't need to refresh your browser. 

You can drill down through the hierarchy in two ways:

• from the Monitored servers list
• by clicking a hyperlink on the current overview page to take you to a lower level (eg from a host machine to a SQL Server instance, or from an instance to a database)
